SUMMER OUTDOOR ART SHOWS:  I just received notification of 2 festivals that I will be at: DENVER ARTS FESTIVAL, May 24-25, I will be showing my Floral paintings & drawings at the Northfield in northeast Denver.  The other one is:  CHEESMAN PARK ARTS FESTIVAL, July 26-27, I will have my City Scenes paintings & drawings. I find inspiration in our natural world whether it is a majestic vista, waves crashing on a beach, a vase of flowers, or a beautiful garden. Nature in all its glory is fascinating to me. Architecture also finds its way into my work. It could be how sunlight is hitting on the building, a detail above a doorway, an archway with columns, or an interesting interior scene that captivates me. Sometimes I create an abstract painting when a realistic painting would not quite convey all the various meanings for that imagery.
